Chatrapati Shivaji is a grand historical Tulu play staged by the Kala Sangama Kalavidaru troupe of Mangaluru, written by Shashiraj Rao Kavooru and directed by the acclaimed Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail. Bringing the valour and legend of the great Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji to the Tulu stage, the production promises a stirring spectacle of courage, pride and epic drama. Enriching its scale and splendour is AK Vijay Kokila, who takes charge of the music while also designing the play's magnificent costumes, lending Chatrapati Shivaji the regal grandeur and powerful atmosphere befitting its heroic theme.
