A remarkable multi-talented personality in the field of theatre, Mr. Panduranga Prabhu Parkala is an accomplished actor, director, makeup artist, and stage designer. A recipient of the prestigious District Rajyotsava Award, he has dedicated several decades of his life to enriching the world of theatre through his exceptional talent, creativity, and unwavering commitment. Having directed numerous stage productions for various organizations, Mr. Parkala has earned a special place in the hearts of countless theatre lovers through his artistic excellence, innovative vision, and dedication to the performing arts. Fondly known as Pandanna, he is admired not only for his immense talent but also for his warm and approachable nature. He has also showcased his acting prowess in Tulu films, including "Bale Telipale," as well as in Konkani cinema. His memorable performances in numerous stage plays have won him widespread appreciation and acclaim from audiences and critics alike. Through his organization, Devi Daya Arts, Parkala, he has brought together artists from diverse backgrounds to present captivating cultural performances during festivals and processions across Udupi, various parts of Karnataka, and even outside the state.
